Welcome to Zoe Savors!
Hey there! I’m Zoe Harper, the creator behind Zoe Savors. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my corner of the internet, where good food, creativity, and connection are always on the menu. For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed that recipes are so much more than instructions – they’re stories, memories, and moments waiting to be shared. My core philosophy? Food is a bridge: it brings us together, inspires joy, and turns the everyday into something extraordinary.
I’ve been lucky enough to share my love of cooking in some incredible ways over the years: I was a finalist in the Home Cooks of America Competition in 2022, featured in Savory Life Magazine, and collaborated with brands like FreshMarket and Spice & Spoon. My recipes have even made their way into local food festivals and cooking workshops, where I’ve met so many fellow food lovers. Every step of this journey has taught me that there’s always something new to learn—and that the best meals are those made with heart and shared with others.
Through Zoe Savors, I hope to give you not just recipes, but inspiration, confidence, and maybe even a few new family traditions. This blog is a reflection of my kitchen: warm, welcoming, and always a little bit experimental. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting out, I want you to feel right at home here.
What I’ve learned most in my years of recipe creation is that food has the power to connect us to our roots and to each other. It’s my honor to help you create those delicious, meaningful moments—one recipe at a time.

How It All Started
My journey with recipes started long before I launched this blog. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of helping my grandmother roll out dough on Sunday mornings, or scribbling down family recipes on notecards splattered with sauce. I still remember the thrill of making my first successful soufflé—messy, imperfect, but oh so delicious!
My love for recipes grew as I started hosting dinner parties in college, experimenting with flavors, and collecting cookbooks from every corner of the globe. What I adore most about cooking is how it can transform a tough day into a celebration or a simple meal into a memory that lasts a lifetime. There’s a certain magic in seeing people smile over something you’ve made just for them.
I created Zoe Savors because I wanted to document my culinary adventures and share the lessons, wins, and even the kitchen disasters with people just like you. My hope is that by sharing my journey, I can spark creativity and confidence in your kitchen, too.
Why You Can Trust Me
With over 14 years of hands-on experience in home cooking, food writing, and recipe development, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the art and science of great food. My background combines personal exploration—countless hours in my own kitchen—with formal training through culinary workshops and food science courses.
My recipes aren’t just tossed together; each one is developed with care, tested multiple times, and refined until it’s truly foolproof. I’m obsessed with quality—every ingredient is chosen for a reason, and every step is there to guarantee success. I do deep research into culinary traditions, nutrition, and flavor profiles before I share anything with you.
Great food should look as good as it tastes, so I pour as much love into food photography as I do into cooking. Every shot on Zoe Savors is taken by me, capturing not just the finished dish but the textures, colors, and moments that make it special.
Outside the kitchen, you’ll find me exploring farmers’ markets, hiking new trails for inspiration, or jotting recipe ideas in a weathered notebook at my favorite café. I believe that the best recipes come from a mix of curiosity, community, and a willingness to make a little mess along the way.
Learning never stops for me. I’m constantly reading, experimenting, and connecting with other cooks—so you can trust that every recipe you find here is built on passion, knowledge, and genuine joy for the craft.
Let’s Connect!
I absolutely love hearing from readers, fellow cooks, and anyone with a passion for food. Whether you have a question about a recipe, want to share your own kitchen stories, or just want to say hello, don’t hesitate to reach out.
